SkatePal is a non-profit organisation founded by Charlie Davis, which supports young people in Palestine through skateboarding. Christian Nilsen and Jenne Grabowksi from JB. Insitute wanted to promote their work and launched a magazine project.

Photographer Christian Nilsen went two times to Palestine to work with SkatePal on projects (skateparks) and talked about it back home with Jenne. That’s where the idea arosed to creat a magazine with Christian’s photos.

Recently the SkatePal x JB mag was released in Zabriskie bookstore in Berlin-Kreuzberg and shows SkatePal, its participants and the projects, as well as landscape photography and the Isle crew, which also visited Palestine on a trip.
